I have recently stumbled across your website and haven’t had a chance to play around on it much yet, but something that instantly caught my eye was that you are in the process of writing a book for children, to help them understand about migraines. I was wondering whether it is likely to be available in the UK too (which is where I am)? What age group is it going to be aimed at and do you have any ideas on release dates… no pressure 😉 I am a fellow long term migraine sufferer and a mummy to a 2.5 year old.
Thank you so you for your time and I’ll look forward to having more of a nosey on your site.
Hi Kelly,
I’m sorry I thought I responded to you, but I guess it didn’t go through! It’s going to be aimed towards 4-7-year-olds. I can certainly mail you a copy. It depends if I self-publish it on Amazon or find a publisher! The artwork is being drafted now! 🙂
My turn to say sorry as I hadn’t seen that you had replied. Technology blips for us both :-)Thank you so much for getting back to me. I’ll look forward to seeing how things progress for you and would definitely love to get a copy through whatever route you take.
Here’s wishing us both and the rest of your followers a migraine free week ahead or at least a manageable week!
Hello,
I’ve published a book Mama has a Migraine for children 4-7 years old. It is available on my website mamasmigraine.com and will be available on Amazaon in a few days. I would be happy to send you a copy for you to review.
Blessings,
Alison
I’m a wife and mother of a 6-year-old daughter. I’ve worked in the IT industry as a Systems Administrator for over 17 years. I experienced my first migraine at age 11. My migraines have progressively grown in frequency and within the last 6 months, I was diagnosed with a chronic migraine. I write two blogs, one to educate everyday computer users with Tech Tips, http://techtipthursday.wordpress.com, My other blog is dedicated to helping migraine sufferers, https://mommyhasamigraine.com I also enjoy, walking, yoga, writing, reading and spending time with my family. I'm currently writing and illustrating a children's book for parents with migraines to help their children understand the problem and how they can help!
